The fertiles... Well my bestfriend just called me to tell me she is pg. Yup. They tried 3 weeks ago and they are now expecting. They have 2 other kids that are 8 and 5 so this is number 3. I can't believe it worked that fast!!!!!! She was just going on and on about it and finally she let me go and then she called me back and I didn't answer. I know she can't help it but come on, I just told her about my m/c about a month ago and I told her we had to do ivf too. I came out to her about everything!! Why couldn't she just be a little more sensitive? It stings bad right now...

Saddly I think she feels like she bonded with you on that level and thinks sharing helps. When I first started with my RE we found that I never Ovulate....so I explained the whole mechanics part of it to my mother and she has had a partial hysterectomy. Anyway, for the next several months she would call me when she thought the was ovulating....I think because she felt it was a bond with me or something. That being said...it upset much the way your friend was upsetting you and I am sorry.
Diana, I agree with m's post, I don't think fertiles can or will ever understand what it's really like to go through what we have, and that things like pg announcements still really hurt, even after we have found success! Don't let it get you down -- I would try to talk to her about it and just say that you need to focus on you right now, and that you can't be there for her 100%...anyways, best of luck with FET, it's soon!!!!
