We have a heartbeat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 140 bpm! The spotting was probably from our wild sex the night before but I guess we will never know... The baby is measuring perfectly. He/she is sooo much bigger than the previous picture. Its truly amazing. I had the probe in me and for a couple of seconds we heard the heartbeat loud and clear. Of course, being that I have never experienced PG, I thought for sure that is MY heartbeat... it's way too early to hear it. Right? WRONG. It was the baby's heartbeat and it was soo loud and precious! Aaron had a HUGE smile on his face. I had told him to give me some kind of sign like a thumbs up or something as soon as he saw the chico but the more I looked at him the more worried I became. His face looked like he had seen a ghost. Later on, I find out that at first he didn't see anything. He said that the screen looked blank and that he got really scared. The tech was taking scans of everything though (ovaries..I guess checking for cysts?) so that could explain why he didn't see much but then he said that she zoomed in and then he saw the baby. Then she zoomed in more and more and he said he saw the heartbeating. He said the screen said "babys heartbeat". Thats when we heard it!!! I am soo happy and so relieved. I am just in awe right now. I can't believe there is a little heart beating in my belly.
